Giulio Tremonti Confirmed as Chairman from 2022 to 2025

        Rome, 10 December 2021 – Giulio Tremonti has been confirmed as the Chairman of Aspen Institute Italia for the three-year period stretching from 2022 to 2025.

        Vice-Chairpersons likewise confirmed are: Gianfelice Rocca, President, Techint Group as Vice-Chairman and Vicar; Lucio Stanca, as Vice-Chairman and Treasurer; Elena Zambon, President, Zambon; Alberto Bombassei, President, Brembo. A new Vice-Chair was also appointed in the person of Monica Maggioni, Director, Tg1 RAI.

        Angelo Maria Petroni, Professor of Logic and the Philosophy of Science at Rome’s “La Sapienza” University has been confirmed as Secretary General for a further three-year period.

        The Annual Board Meeting likewise confirmed the Institute’s Executive Committee in its entirety for the next three years, also appointing Vincenzo Gesmundo, Secretary General, Confederazione Nazionale Coldiretti; Federica Guidi, President and Managing Director, Ducati Energia; Nicoletta Luppi, President and General Manager, MSD Italia; and Massimo Massella Ducci Teri, Attorney General Emeritus. The Board likewise confirmed the Board of Auditors in its entirety for the next three years, with the addition of Norberto Arquilla, Professor of Tax Law at the Civil Law Faculty of the Pontificia Università Lateranense. The appointments, proposed by the Executive Committee, were approved at the Institute’s Annual Board Meeting yesterday, Thursday 9 December 2021.
