    Unicredit grows in Russia – International growth is a key strategy in dealing with the economic crisis and Italian groups are adapting to market needs with new projects. That is the case of Unicredit which, as its president Giuseppe Vita stated in a video interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, is planning to increase its market share in Russia (June 21 –UniCredit Says Aims to Expand Russia Market Share).

    Tourism and cuisine: from Milan to the Amalfi coast – As always when summer rolls around, last week the foreign press wrote about great places to visit and Italian food. The New York Times wrote about the growing passion of the Milanese for hamburger joints (June 23 – In Milan, a Surge of Burger Spots), the Financial Times ran a piece about an expat who left Manhattan and a PR job to open a cooking school in the Marche  (June 14 – Expat lives: the US to Italy).
    The foreign press once again showed its interest in Tuscany. The New York Times wrote about the some of the best spots along the Tuscan coast (June 23 – Finding Gems on the Tuscan Coast), while the Belgian paper Le Soir took a traditional journey a Montalcino to visit the sights and taste the wine (June 15 – Évasion Montalcino, escale gourmande). Finally, Die Ziet reported on the traditions of the fragrant lemons of the Amalfi Coast (June 24 – Wo Italien schön sauer ist).
