The scientific press again published numerous studies by Italian researchers. September saw publication of 40 studies with large number in the field of oncology. The ten studies published in specialized journals such as British Journal of Cancer, The Lancet Oncology, Nature Reviews Cancer and Leukemia were produced by 96 Italian researchers in 22 centers.
Along with studies in cancer, a specialization of Italian medicine, there were several published in the field of genetics, four in Nerupscycopharmacology, Laboratory Investigation, and Heredity by 22 researches in five centers and the same number of molecular biology (in Nature and Scientific Reports by six researchers in three centers). In addition, two studies in cardiology involving eleven Italian researchers in two national research centers were published in Hypertension Research.
