    The number of studies conducted by Italian researchers and picked up by major international scientific journals remained more or less stable during the month of November, with 42 articles published, involving the contribution of 392 researchers working across 109 Italian research centers. Work in the field of oncology was once again well-represented (comprising 15 studies by 201 researchers at 49 research centers), and appeared in specialist journals of the Nature group, such as the British Journal of Cancer, Oncogene, Blood Cancer Journal, and Leukemia.

    Also published were studies in the field of neuroscience, with 3 papers involving the work of 25 researchers at 7 laboratories and university centers, appearing in Cell Death and Disease and Cell Death and Differentiation.

    Of further note is the interview posted on the Aspen Italia website with immunologist Paola Castagnoli, Scientific Director of the Singapore Immunology Network, in which she discusses the latest developments of her work in Singapore and how the Asian experience could be replicated in Italy.
