This month saw an increase in exposure given to the work of Italian researchers by the major international scientific journals, with 58 articles published, involving the work of 373 researchers at 135 national research centers. Studies in the field of oncology were once again well-represented (8 studies by 32 researchers at 11 centers), and were published in The Lancet Oncology and in specialized journals of the Nature group, including Leukemia, Oncogene, Cell Death and Disease, and Scientific Reports.
Also featuring prominently were publications in the field of genetics, with 8 studies by 49 researchers across 20 laboratories and research centers, appearing in Nature Genetics, the European Journal of Human Genetics, and Cell Death and Differentiation.
Finally, also of note is the interview published on this website with Edoardo Magnone, a materials science chemist engaged in new energy research at the Korea Institute of Energy Research in Daejeon, and a member of Aspen Institute Italia’s “Italian Talents abroad” group.
