Some 41 articles were published by Italian researchers and laboratories in the June editions of international scientific journals (Science, Lancet and those owned by the Nature group) and those dealing with oncology and neurosciences were the most prolific.
Five, published in the British Journal of Cancer and Leukemia, dealt with cancer research and three featuring neuro-scientific studies appeared in publications such as Neuropsychopharmacology.
