The scientific press once again published a number of studies by Italian researchers. There were 34 studies published in June, with an increase especially in the field of genetics. Thirty-five Italian researchers in five national research centers took part in the five studies published in the field (in journals such as come Nature Genetics, European Journal of Human Genetics and Cell Death & Differentiation)
There were a smaller number of publications in the field of oncology (a strength of Italian research, but with the work of 30 researchers in five centers published in three journals (British Journal of Cancer, Scientific Reports and Laboratory Investigation). There were however an increase in the studies in the area of pediatrics, with four studies published (two in the Journal of Perinatology,one in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and one in Pedriatic Research). Twenty’two researchers in five research centers took part in these studies.
Finally, there were several studies in the fields of cardiology and hypertension. Forty-one researchers working in three research centers published studies in Nature Reviews Cardilogy, Journal of Human Hypertension and American Journal of Hypertension.
