Monitoring the world’s scientific journals in December revealed that Italy’s researchers and laboratories have been focusing on oncology and genetics. Monitoring international scientific publications (Science, Lancet and publications owned by the Nature group) revealed some 35 articles being carried out in Italy’s laboratories.
Of these, 5 studies in the medical sector (mostly regarding oncology) were published in the Pediatric Research, Leukemia, Oncogene and the Journal of Perinatology and 4 genetical studies featured in Science, Nature Communications and the European Journal of Human Genetics.
