    In May, oncology and biology recorded the greatest number of publications by Italian laboratories, with 41 articles involving 62 research centres.

    Monitoring of the leading international scientific journals (Science, Nature, PNAS-Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, National Science Review and Scientific Reports, placed by SCImago Journal Rank in the top 5 for scientific impact) yielded 6 studies connected to oncology published in Science, Nature and Scientific Reports, with the contribution of the Universities of Verona, Bari, and L’Aquila, as well as Policlinico universitario Gemelli.

    In biology, 5 articles appeared Scientific Reports. In this area, research involved the Universities of Padua, Naples – Federico II, and Pisa, as well as CNR-IRET.
