Tourism – Summer is coming and the foreign press published even more articles about Italy. Milan is still in the spotlight with events related to Expo 2015, such as the exhibition on Leonardo Da Vinci (El Mundo, June 8 – La Milán de Leonardo) and the opening of the Prada Foundation, a new space for contemporary art (Liberation, June 8 – Prada, l’art de se démarquer). El Pais on the other hand interviewed Fabrizio Barozzi, who – together with his collegue Alberto Veiga – just won the Mies van der Rohe Prize of Architecture (June 8 – “La Rambla ya no es Barcelona, es una extensión del muelle de cruceros”).

Turning to the world of cuisine,  Bloomberg reported on the kosher certification obtained by  Parmigiano Reggiano. According to the press agency, this will be an important factor in its growth in the US  (June 8 –  Italian Parmigiano Reggiano Goes Kosher to Grab U.S. Market). Also, the New York Times gave its readers some suggestions for Italian food in Manhattan (June 7 – Coastal Italian Cuisine in an Unlikely Spot*) and the Washington Post, recommended the Italian ice-cream of Gianluigi Dellaccio (June 8 – ‘Hot’ gelato: It’s a thing, and it’s pretty cool).
