The same media company ran an interview with <strong>Fernando Napolitano<\/strong>, President of Italian Business &amp; Investment Initiative exploring his views on Italy\u2019s economic prospects (February 13 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/audio\/2017-02-13\/fernando-napolitano-on-italy-economy-solid-despite-perception\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fernando Napolitano on Italy: Economy Solid Despite Perception<\/a>). <em>Reuters<\/em>, on the other hand, explained how increased manufacturing costs in China are effecting production in the textile sector, especially with regard to better quality items from the Biella district in Piedmont (February 13 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-china-textiles-italy-idUSKBN15S2LF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">China&#8217;s pain, Italy&#8217;s gain: high costs push textile buyers west<\/a>). Meantime, <em>la Presse<\/em> outlined how Italy is getting ready to become Tunisia\u2019s most important commercial partner (February 11 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lapresse.tn\/component\/nationals\/?task=article&amp;id=126324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L\u2019Italie pourrait devenir le premier partenaire \u00e9conomique<\/a>) and the <em>New York Times<\/em> reported on how <strong>Enel\u2019s<\/strong> success and greater than anticipated profits mean it has confirmed its targets (February 9 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/reuters\/2017\/02\/09\/business\/09reuters-enel-results.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enel Confirms Targets After Core Earnings Beat Guidance<\/a>*). <em>Le Matin,<\/em> told its readers that <strong>Alfa Romeo <\/strong>had been awarded the prize for \u201cthe most beautiful car in 2016\u201d for its new Giulia (February 14 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/lematin.ma\/journal\/2017\/l-rsquo-alfa-romeo-giulia-elue-laquo-plus-belle-voiture-de-lannee-2016-raquo-\/267135.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L&#8217;Alfa Romeo Giulia \u00e9lue &#8220;plus belle voiture de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e 2016<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Culture<\/strong> \u2013 <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">El Pa\u00eds<\/em> described the \u201crevolution\u201d underway in the <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Uffizi<\/strong> as the Florentine gallery sets out to relaunch its collection and fight against it becoming too \u201chomogenized\u201d (February 11 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/cultura.elpais.com\/cultura\/2017\/02\/11\/actualidad\/1486830198_988540.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La revoluci\u00f3n de los Uffizi<\/a>), and the same Spanish paper reviewed \u201cMagnani Aperta\u201d,&nbsp; the show currently on stage in Madrid that tells the story of a day in the life of the great Italian actress (February 11 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/ccaa.elpais.com\/ccaa\/2017\/02\/09\/madrid\/1486639197_041281.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anna Magnani vive sus \u00faltimas horas en Madrid<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Tourism <\/strong>\u2013 The influence of St. Valentine\u2019s day was clear to see this week in articles about tourism in Italy, with <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Bloomberg<\/em> including the Benedictine Abbey of <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">San Fruttuoso<\/strong> in an article with suggestions of where a would-be groom might want to get down on one knee (February 13 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2017-02-13\/best-places-in-the-world-to-propose-romantic-travel-destinations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forget the Eiffel Tower, These Are the World&#8217;s Best Places to Propose<\/a>), whilst it was the special opening of the House of Chaste Lovers in <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Pompeii<\/strong> to mark the big day that attracted the attention of <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Le Monde<\/em>&nbsp; (February 14 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/architecture\/article\/2017\/02\/14\/pour-la-saint-valentin-les-amants-chastes-se-donnent-rendez-vous-a-pompei_5079611_1809550.html?xtmc=italie&amp;xtcr=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pour la Saint-Valentin, les amants chastes se donnent rendez-vous \u00e0 Pomp\u00e9i<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Meantime <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">el Pa\u00eds<\/em> took the opportunity to provide its \u201csingle\u201d readers with some ideas of where to escape alone, with <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Rome<\/strong> and the <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Amalfi Coast<\/strong> included in its top 10 (February 13 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elviajero.elpais.com\/elviajero\/2017\/02\/13\/actualidad\/1486979850_318630.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10 escapadas para solteros<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;It was the <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Venetian<\/strong> jewelry shop, Casa Codognato that featured in <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Bloomberg<\/em> article, revealing how it has been helping celebrities, artists and members of Royal families express their love with surprise home deliveries of jewelry since 1866 (February 8 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/culture\/2017\/feb\/14\/fantastic-floats-carnival-of-viareggio-photo-essay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fantastic floats at the Carnival of Viareggio<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Fashion and style of interest to tourists featured in two articles about <strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Milan <\/strong>this week, with the <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Wall Street Journal<\/em> describing, where to go for an aperitif in Italy\u2019s most sophisticated city (February 14 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/a-classic-to-quirky-cocktail-tour-of-milan-1487096782\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Classic-to-Quirky Cocktail Tour of Milan<\/a>*), whilst <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">el Pa\u00eds<\/em> suggested readers might enjoy visiting the Palazzo Morando to see the exhibition of shoes by the Spanish designer Manolo Blahnik (February 10 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elpais.com\/elpais\/2017\/02\/07\/estilo\/1486479498_083890.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los \u2018stilettos\u2019 de Manolo Blahnik celebran en Mil\u00e1n su 45\u00ba aniversario<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Food<\/strong> \u2013 There were plenty of food related stories this week, with <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">le Monde<\/em> printing the personal interpretation of a traditional Apulian recipe by a famous French journalist (February 10 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/m-gastronomie\/article\/2017\/02\/10\/les-orecchiette-alle-cime-di-rapa-d-alain-kruger_5077910_4497540.html#i0Qor5iCYG32Jy7B.99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Les orecchiette alle cime di rapa d\u2019Alain Kruger<\/a><\/span>) before going on to suggest the best place in Paris to eat a truly Neapolitan pizza (February 15 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/m-gastronomie-le-lieu\/article\/2017\/02\/15\/a-table-avec-francois-simon-chez-da-graziella-la-pizza-est-vraiment-napolitana_5079939_4497598.html#Kp0m02IFUm8Xxi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/papel\/gastro\/2017\/02\/09\/589c507846163f7a348b457c.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aprende a preparar cocina italiana: Pasta di Fabri<\/a>) and <em style=\"font-weight: normal;\">l\u2019Orient Le Jour<\/em> described the evenings dedicated to the Italian way of life at the Italian Cultural Institute in Beirut (February 13 &#8211;&nbsp;
