The leading international dailies are still devoting coverage to Italian fashion: in particular, websites and press agencies have concentrated their stories on the collections presented at Milan Fashion Week: <em>The New York Times<\/em> recounts and comments upon shows by <strong>Emporio Armani<\/strong>, <strong>Versace<\/strong>, <strong>Diesel<\/strong>, and <strong>Etro <\/strong>(February 26 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/aponline\/2016\/02\/26\/world\/europe\/ap-eu-milan-fashion-week-watch.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emporio Armani, Versace, Diesel Headline Milan Fashion Day 3<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/reuters\/2016\/02\/26\/world\/europe\/26reuters-fashion-milan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Pop at Emporio Armani, Practical Wardrobe From Etro in Milan<\/a>); the same stylists also find space in <em>The Washington Post<\/em>, joined by <strong>Dolce&amp;Gabbana, Missoni<\/strong> and <strong>Ferragamo<\/strong> (February 29 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/entertainment\/emporio-armani-versace-diesel-headline-milan-fashion-day-3\/2016\/02\/26\/564712e8-dcb7-11e5-8210-f0bd8de915f6_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emporio Armani, Versace, Diesel headline Milan fashion Day 3<\/a>; February 28 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/europe\/dolceandgabbana-missoni-ferragamo-headline-day-5-in-milan\/2016\/02\/28\/96606c9a-de4b-11e5-8c00-8aa03741dced_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dolce&amp;Gabbana, Missoni, Ferragamo headline Day 5 in Milan<\/a>; February 29- <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/entertainment\/armani-dsquared2-and-arbesser-close-out-milan-fashion-week\/2016\/02\/29\/aef688b6-df09-11e5-8c00-8aa03741dced_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Armani, DSquared2 and Arbesser close out Milan Fashion Week<\/a>). <em>Reuters<\/em>, on the other hand, focuses on <strong>Prada<\/strong> (February 26 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-fashion-milan-prada-idUSKCN0VY2V0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prada offers &#8216;see now, buy now&#8217; bags straight off the Milan catwalk<\/a>), while <em>El Pais<\/em> dedicates a long article to the success of <strong>Max Mara<\/strong>, made possible thanks to \u201cquality fabrics and made-in-Italy design\u201d (February 27 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elpais.com\/elpais\/2016\/02\/24\/eps\/1456324447_792281.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">El abrigo de Italia<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>And while some articles concentrate on the designers emerging at the Milan shows (<em>Le Monde<\/em>, February 29 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/fashion-week\/article\/2016\/02\/29\/une-cure-de-jouvence-pour-la-mode-italienne_4873508_1824875.html#A15fvPseQxWg2vQm.99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La mode italienne s\u2019offre une cure de jouvence<\/a>*; <em>The New York Times<\/em>, February 25 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/02\/25\/fashion\/italian-vogue-emerging-designers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sara  Maino at Italian Vogue: \u2018Highlighting\u2019 Emerging Designers<\/a>*), there\u2019s  also room for the history of Italian fashion, with the show \u201cBellissima: Italy  and High Fashion 1945-1968,\u201d  opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (<em>New York Times<\/em>, February 29 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/02\/29\/fashion\/the-birth-of-postwar-italian-style.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Birth of Postwar Italian Style<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking &amp; lifestyle<\/strong> \u2013 Fashion is keeping pace with reporting on the world of wine and food \u2013 a bedrock element of Italian lifestyle. <em>The<\/em> <em>New<\/em> <em>York<\/em> <em>Times<\/em> writes about how \u201cpanini\u201d from the Florentine shop <strong>Antico No\u00e8<\/strong> have come to the Big Apple (February 29 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/03\/02\/dining\/antico-noe-nyc-panini-from-florence-now-sold-in-new-york.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antico No\u00e8 Panini From Florence Now Sold in New York<\/a>*). Also, along with <em>Reuters<\/em>, the American newspaper has published the yearly results of <strong>Campari<\/strong>, the Italian spirits brand that has beaten analysts\u2019 expectations thanks to higher sales (March 1 and 2 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/03\/02\/business\/international\/campari-sales-beat-forecasts-rising-3-percent-in-2015.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Campari Sales Beat Forecasts, Rising 3 Percent in 2015<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/campari-results-idUSI6N15X00T\">Campari reports higher sales and margins in 2015<\/a>). There is also room for some Italian recipes, with <em>The<\/em> <em>Washington Post<\/em> offering tips on how to make \u201cspaghetti alla chitarra\u201d (March 3 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/pb\/recipes\/spaghetti-alla-chitarra\/15184\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spaghetti Alla Chitarra<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Automobile design is another element of Italian style.
