At any rate, \u201cItalian-style elegance,\u201d <em>Le Monde<\/em> explains, has a long tradition \u2013 a tradition whose story is told in a documentary, Jean Lauritano\u2019s<em> Made in Italy<\/em>, reviewed by the French newspaper before its television broadcast (26 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/televisions-radio\/article\/2015\/09\/26\/elegances-a-l-italienne_4772636_1655027.html?xtmc=italie&amp;xtcr=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">El\u00e9gances \u00e0 l\u2019italienne<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to women\u2019s clothing for spring\/summer 2016, there\u2019s also room for accessories: <em>The<\/em> <em>New York Times<\/em> even proposes Milan as the starting point for a new \u201cGrand Tour\u201d in search of shoes and purses from which to \u201cfind inspiration\u201d (27 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/09\/28\/fashion\/milan-fashion-week-spring-2015-jimmy-choo-giuseppe-zanotti.html?_r=0&amp;mtrref=query.nytimes.com&amp;gwh=260032EF3D0BDA01023BEAFC893A3500&amp;gwt=pay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">From Milan, the Accessory Grand Tour<\/a>*), while <em>The Times<\/em> devotes itself to eyewear, thanks to the \u201c<em>dolce vita<\/em>\u201d relaunched by Italian Independent and its founder <strong>Lapo Elkann<\/strong> (27 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesundaytimes.co.uk\/sto\/style\/fashion\/People\/article1610097.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Welcome to Lapo land<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p>Between one runway and the next, some find the time to savour the pastries at <strong>Cova<\/strong> and <strong>Marchesi<\/strong>, historic establishments bought out by luxury brands like LVMH and Prada, and now a \u201cnew stop on the Milan style circuit\u201d (<em>The<\/em> <em>New York Times, <\/em>27 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/09\/26\/fashion\/in-milan-the-pastry-wars.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In Milan, the Pastry Wars<\/a>*); others speak of the close bond between the Lombard city and design (and not only fashion design): the American paper\u2019s style magazine shares Arthur Arbesser\u2019s experience, recounting why the Viennese designer has chosen to move there (25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/09\/25\/t-magazine\/milan-designer-arthur-arbesser-fashion-week.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In Milan, a Designer Aims for \u2018The Edge of Good Taste\u2019<\/a>*). <em>The<\/em> <em>New York Times<\/em> also examines and describes the synergies created from the combination of fashion shows and the Milan Expo (25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/09\/26\/fashion\/milan-expo-2015-milan-fashion-week.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Will There Be an Expo Effect?<\/a>*)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Economy <\/strong>\u2013 While fashion is the big news this week, there are also plenty of business-related stories about Italy. <em>Reuters<\/em> explains how Banca d&#8217;Italia has agreed with upwardly revised economic growth rates (29 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2015\/09\/29\/italy-economy-forecast-idUSR1N0ZJ02K20150929\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bank of Italy agrees with upwardly revised GDP targets<\/a>) and reports on Banca Imi\u2019s valuation of <strong>Poste Italiane<\/strong> \u2013 in excess of \u20ac&nbsp;11 billion \u2013 leading up to its listing on the stock exchange (28 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2015\/09\/28\/poste-italiane-ipo-valuation-idUSL5N11Y29T20150928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italy&#8217;s post office valued at up to 11.4 bln euros by IPO coordinator<\/a>); <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/0\/1507bc78-65f8-11e5-97d0-1456a776a4f5.html#axzz3n7KTebsn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrea Guerra takes role at Italian food retailer Eataly<\/a>*; 29 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/0\/631c3638-65ca-11e5-a28b-50226830d644.html#axzz3n7KTebsn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ex-Luxottica chief Guerra\u2019s remit is to prime Eataly for listing<\/a>*)<\/p>\n<p><em>Reuters <\/em>also reports on the acquisition completed in China by the Italian brake brand <strong>Brembo <\/strong>(29 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2015\/09\/29\/brembo-china-idUSL5N11Z1H020150929\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italy&#8217;s Brembo to buy control of Chinese brake disc producer<\/a>), while the French business newspaper details the strategies with which Federico Ghizzoni intends to open \u201ca new era\u201d for <strong>UniCredit<\/strong> (<em>Les Echos<\/em>, 30 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/journal20150930\/lec2_finance_et_marches\/021363072727-federico-ghizzoni-ouvre-une-nouvelle-ere-pour-unicredit-1160651.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federico Ghizzoni ouvre une nouvelle \u00e8re pour UniCredit<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish press, on the other hand, is concentrating on the attempted relaunch of a group \u2013 Volkswagen \u2013 that has named the Italian <strong>Luca De Meo<\/strong> to lead the Spanish brand SEAT (<em>El Mundo<\/em>, 25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/motor\/2015\/09\/25\/560580d7268e3e62418b45a6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luca Di Meo, nuevo presidente de Seat<\/a>; <em>Expansion<\/em>, 25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expansion.com\/empresas\/motor\/2015\/09\/25\/56052ef3ca474143188b4582.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luca De Meo, presidente de Seat<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture<\/strong> \u2013 In the culture area, a number of reviews have come out this week: <em>Financial Times<\/em> talks about <strong>Giancarlo De Cataldo<\/strong>\u2019s <em>Romanzo Criminale&#8217;<\/em> (25 September &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/0\/1cabfada-5e2c-11e5-9846-de406ccb37f2.html#axzz3n7KTebsn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Romanzo Criminale\u2019, by Giancarlo De Cataldo<\/a>) and <strong>Nanni Moretti<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cinspired tragicomedy\u201d <em>Mia Madre<\/em> (25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/dc7e22e2-62ba-11e5-9846-de406ccb37f2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mia Madre \u2014 film review<\/a>). <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em> reports on tenor <strong>Andrea Bocelli<\/strong>\u2019s pop adventure and his new album <em>Cinema<\/em> (25 September &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/andrea-bocellis-new-album-1443201096\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrea Bocelli\u2019s New Album<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p>While <em>El Mundo <\/em>commemorates <strong>Italo Calvino<\/strong> 30 years after his death (1 October \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/cultura\/2015\/10\/01\/560ccfedca4741cd2a8b4570.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italo Calvino: el escritor rampante<\/a>), the comics are also covered, with the \u201crebirth\u201d of <strong>Corto Maltese<\/strong> (<em>Les Echos, <\/em>25 September &#8211;
