According to the <em>Financial Times,<\/em> <strong>Alitalia, <\/strong>also interested in Latina America, will start new flights to Mexico (Reuters, June 12 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2015\/06\/12\/alitalia-mexico-idUSL1N0YY24M20150612\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&nbsp;Italy&#8217;s Alitalia agrees to start flights to Mexico<\/a>), with livery and cabin design (June 12 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/0\/ae3203be-0ea9-11e5-8aca-00144feabdc0.html#axzz3dPPGHEBl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alitalia relaunches, unveiling a new livery and cabin designs <\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are not only investments abroad: the <em>Washington Post<\/em>, reported on the 1.5 billon euro project for the <strong>Rome<\/strong> stadium<strong>, <\/strong>planned by the soccer team\u2019s American CEO James Pallotta (June 15 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/dcunited\/roma-moves-ahead-on-ambitious-15-billion-euro-stadium-plan\/2015\/06\/15\/65e9d0b8-136e-11e5-8457-4b431bf7ed4c_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roma moves ahead on ambitious 1.5 billion euro stadium plan<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cuisine and the agrifood industry<\/strong> \u2013 As always, there is interest in the Italian agrifood sector. Wine tood front stage last week, with a discussion of the effervescence \u201c<strong>Prosecco\u201d<\/strong> (<em>Le Monde<\/em>, June 16 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/vins\/article\/2015\/06\/12\/les-petillants-italiens-et-espagnols-en-pleine-effervescence_4653201_3527806.html?xtmc=italie&amp;xtcr=9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Les p\u00e9tillants italiens et espagnols en pleine effervescence<\/a>*), which the<em> Washington Post<\/em> tasted in a tour of Veneto wine cellars (June 11 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/travel\/its-sparkler-season-touring-italys-prosecco-road\/2015\/06\/11\/c540e8e2-ed19-11e4-8abc-d6aa3bad79dd_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">It\u2019s sparkler season: Touring Italy\u2019s Prosecco Road<\/a>). There was also interest in the bubbles of Franciacorta with an interview of wine profet <strong>Maurizio Zanella<\/strong> of Ca\u2019 del Bosco which, according to <em>Le Monde<\/em>, produces the best Italian spumante (June 12 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/vins\/article\/2015\/06\/12\/maurizio-zanella-le-prophete-du-franciocorta_4653029_3527806.html?xtmc=italie&amp;xtcr=17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maurizio Zanella, le proph\u00e8te du franciacorta<\/a>). Instead, <em>New York Times<\/em>, traveled to Campania to discuss the potential of &nbsp;<strong>Falanghina<\/strong> (June 11 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/06\/17\/dining\/wine-review-falanghina.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tapping Into the Potential of Falanghina<\/a>*).<\/p>\n<p>Concerning pasta, there was attention in the international growth of <strong>Barilla,<\/strong> which is planning to open a factory in northern Europe (<em>Les Echos<\/em>, June 16 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/industrie-services\/conso-distribution\/021138323536-litalien-barilla-veut-accelerer-a-linternational-1128622.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L&#8217;italien Barilla veut acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer \u00e0 l&#8217;international<\/a>) and interest in the summer dishes of Italian cuisine proposed by the <em>New York Times<\/em>, June 12 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/06\/17\/dining\/summer-ricotta-zucchini-pasta-recipe.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fresh Ricotta Turns a Simple Pasta Dish Sublime<\/a>*). Finally, according to <em>Les Echos<\/em>, <strong>Lavazza <\/strong>is increasing its marketing initiatives to celebrate its 120th year (June 16 &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/journal20150616\/lec2_industrie_et_services\/021133968756-lavazza-met-son-cafe-en-scene-tous-azimuts-1128592.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Lavazza met son caf\u00e9 en sc\u00e8ne tous azimuts <\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tourism and culture \u2013<\/strong> Once again, the foreign press made a number of suggestions as to tourist destinations. <em>El Mundo<\/em> traveled to <strong>Milan<\/strong>, tracing the visit of Michelle Obama (June 17 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/loc\/2015\/06\/17\/5581a8ed268e3eb1088b458c.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clase de cocina, compras, un lujoso hotel, Da Vinci&#8230; El viaje de Michelle Obama en Mil\u00e1n<\/a>), while the <em>New York Times Magazine<\/em> told its readers about the adventura of artist Mickalene Thomas in the cities of art (June 17 &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com\/2015\/06\/17\/mickalene-thomas-italy-travel-diary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Mickalene Thomas\u2019s Adventures in Italy<\/a>). Finally, <em>Die Zeit<\/em>, spoke about <strong>Riccione<\/strong> and its tourist attractions, free of charge (June 12 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeit.de\/2015\/24\/riccione-urlaub-werbung-ein-tag-alles-gratis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dolce f\u00fcr niente<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Again, the <em>New York Times<\/em> visited Conegliano for the exhibition Vittore and Benedetto <strong>Carpaccio<\/strong> (June 18 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/06\/18\/arts\/international\/puncturing-the-myth-of-carpaccios-waning-powers.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puncturing the Myth of Carpaccio\u2019s Waning Powers<\/a>), while other papers reported on the new trains allowing tourist to reach Pompeii (<em>The Sunday Times<\/em>, June 14 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesundaytimes.co.uk\/sto\/travel\/article1567151.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All aboard the Pompeii express<\/a>*) and the renewal of the <strong>Fenice Opera House <\/strong>on the occasion of the Venice Biennale (<em>Les Echos<\/em>, June 12 &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/journal20150615\/lec2_industrie_et_services\/021128041744-la-fenice-se-met-a-lheure-de-la-biennale-de-venise-1128194.php?35jedaPM6THT9j4Z.99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> La Fenice se met \u00e0 l&#8217;heure de la Biennale de Venise<\/a>).
