The front pages and web sites of the major foreign papers closely followed the two appointments for men\u2019s fashion. The <em>New York Times<\/em> described the atmosphere at Pitti on June 20 as optimistic (June 21 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/06\/21\/fashion\/pitti-uomo-florence-mens-fashion-age-of-the-natty-fellow.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">At Pitti Uomo, the Age of the Natty Fellow<\/a>*), while <em>El Pais<\/em>&nbsp;explained that Milan Men\u2019s Fashion Week started with pragmatism and celebration (June 22 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/cultura.elpais.com\/cultura\/2014\/06\/22\/actualidad\/1403439807_253397.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mil\u00e1n: entre el pragmatismo y la fiesta<\/a>) For&nbsp;<em>Bloomberg Businessweek,<\/em>&nbsp;the proposals of the designers were based on classic geometric forms (June 24 \u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/2014-06-24\/geometrys-basic-line-gets-fresh-exposure-in-milan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geometry&#8217;s basic line gets fresh exposure in Milan<\/a>), easy to wear and great for relaxing (June 23 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/2014-06-23\/milan-fashion-designers-say-go-ahead-and-relax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milan fashion designers say: &#8216;Go ahead and relax&#8217;<\/a>), with the addition of notes of color (June 24 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/2014-06-24\/milan-designers-nudge-men-to-dress-with-derring-do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milan designers nudge men to dress with derring-do<\/a>). In other words, according to the&nbsp;<em>New York Times<\/em>, it is a style based on Italian tradition (June 25 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/06\/26\/fashion\/italys-mens-wear-designers-stress-their-heritage.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italy Gets Real<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The supplement to men\u2019s fashion in <em>El Pais<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Icon,&nbsp;<\/em>suggested six ways to understand and adapt the trends of the coming season (June 23 &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/elpais.com\/elpais\/2014\/06\/23\/icon\/1403517835_242525.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seis frases para entender la temporada que viene<\/a>). And other papers concentrated on the models presented by individual designers.
