Along with news of the Oscar, papers also quoted <strong>Paolo Sorrentino<\/strong>. The Argentinian paper <em>Clarin<\/em> reported on the director\u2019s statement that one source of inspiration was Diego Armando Maradona (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.com\/espectaculos\/cine\/dedicatoria-Maradona-Oscar-extranjero-Italia_0_1094890560.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Con dedicatoria a Maradona, el Oscar a la pel\u00edcula en idioma extranjero se fue para Italia<\/a>), while, in an interview a few days before the ceremony, Sorrentino told the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> about some of the film\u2019s secrets, underlining that Italy is a perfect place for inspiration \u201d (February 28 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/news\/articles\/SB10001424052702303775504579395124199184960?KEYWORDS=italy&amp;mg=reno64-wsj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Director Paolo Sorrentino on Film and the Oscars | 20 Odd Questions<\/a>). Finally, the spotlight fell on the movie\u2019s real star, Roma, a city undergoing changes that were explained by <em>Bloombuerg Businessweek<\/em> (March 3 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/articles\/2014-03-03\/romes-oscar-win-for-the-great-beauty-and-the-way-cities-change-or-dont\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rome&#8217;s Oscar Triumph and the Way Cities Change (or Don&#8217;t)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture<\/strong>: from tourist attractions to the Futurists<strong> \u2013 <\/strong>Rome remained in center stage with suggestions for tourists published in <em>The Times<\/em> with an interactive map for visitors (March 2 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesundaytimes.co.uk\/sto\/travel\/weekends\/city_breaks\/article1380641.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ultimate cities: Rome&nbsp;<\/a>* ). The <em>Financial Times <\/em>wrote on the trends seen on the catwalk (February 28 &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/c1cba49a-9f9a-11e3-94f3-00144feab7de.html#slide0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Womenswear trends in Milan?<\/a>), while the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> ran a piece on how new designers brought new allure &nbsp;(February 28 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/news\/articles\/SB10001424052702304610404579405741751535608?KEYWORDS=italy&amp;mg=reno64-wsj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Young Designers Bring Sexy Spirit to Milan Fashion Week *<\/a>).
