Yet again, a high proportion of these publications were in the field of oncology (12 studies undertaken by 90 researchers at 14 centers), with items appearing in <em>The Lancet Oncology<\/em> as well as in specialized journals of the <em>Nature<\/em> publishing group, including <em>Nature Leukemia,<\/em><em> Oncogene, Cell Death and Disease<\/em>, and <em>Scientific Reports<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Also well-represented were studies in genetics, with 4 publications appearing in <em>Nature Genetics<\/em> and the <em>European Journal of Human Genetics<\/em> and involving the input of 49 researchers at 20 laboratories and research centers.<\/p>\n<p>Of special note was a report aired on British broadcaster Sky dealing with transplant operations performed by Paolo Muiesan (recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.it\/en\/national-interest\/article\/using-007-style-gadgets-we%E2%80%99re-improving-success-rate-%E2%80%98non-heart-beating-do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interviewed by the Aspen Italia website team<\/a>) and his team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (<a href=\"http:\/\/news.sky.com\/story\/1112139\/big-rise-in-number-of-living-organ-donors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Rise In Number Of Living Organ Donors<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the area of biomedical engineering, Aspen Italia\u2019s website carries an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.it\/en\/national-interest\/article\/combining-medicine-and-engineering-improve-diagnostics-interview-riccardo-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview with Riccardo Lattanzi<\/a>, a researcher at the Center for Biomedical Imaging at the New York University School of Medicine whose work focuses on developing new applications for high-field magnetic
