Italian business is certainly no exception. <em>The Hindu Business Line<\/em> reported that <strong>Fiat<\/strong> is getting ready to open over 100 showrooms in India (May 13 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehindubusinessline.com\/companies\/fiat-india-to-open-110-showrooms-this-year\/article4703004.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fiat India to open 110 showrooms this year<\/a>) while Brazil\u2019s <em>Valor Economico<\/em> reported that the confectioner giant <strong>Ferrero<\/strong> is making plans to open a new factory in this important Latin American country. (May 12-&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.valor.com.br\/empresas\/3120038\/grupo-ferrero-negocia-construir-nova-fabrica-nos-camaroes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grupo Ferrero negocia construir nova f\u00e1brica nos Camar\u00f5es<\/a>) .<\/p>\n<p>Globalization is also the key to success of <strong>Luxottica,<\/strong> a&nbsp; leader in Italy\u2019s eyewear sector, and the reason why \u2013 according to the German economic paper <em>Handelsblatt<\/em>&nbsp;<em> &#8211;<\/em> the company continues to shine like the sun (May 14 \u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.handelsblatt.com\/unternehmen\/handel-dienstleister\/italiens-brillenindustrie-gruess-mir-die-sonne\/8198352.html\">Gr\u00fc\u00df&#8217;<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.handelsblatt.com\/unternehmen\/handel-dienstleister\/italiens-brillenindustrie-gruess-mir-die-sonne\/8198352.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mir die Sonne&nbsp;<\/a>). The same thing is true of the duty free sector of <strong>Autogrill<\/strong>, which is about to be quoted separately on the Milan stock exchange come the fall (<em>Les Echos<\/em>, May 15 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/entreprises-secteurs\/service-distribution\/actu\/0202763652175-autogrill-choisit-la-bourse-de-milan-pour-son-pole-duty-free-566531.php?xtor=RSS-2262\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Autogrill choisit la Bourse de Milan pour son p\u00f4le \u00ab duty free \u00bb<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traveling, racing and cuisine<\/strong> \u2013 As usual, the foreign press also showed its fascination with Italian sights, sound and taste. The English papern The English paper, <em>The Guardian<\/em> took its readers to the discovery of <strong>Incontri in Terra di Siena<\/strong>, a music festival set in the beauty of the Tuscan hills (May 12 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/travel\/2013\/may\/12\/classical-music-festivals-in-tuscany\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuning in to a Tuscan music festival<\/a>) and the <em>New York Times<\/em> lands close by in <strong>Spoleto<\/strong>, with an article reviewing clubs, hotels and restaurants in the Umbrian town (May 15 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com\/2013\/05\/15\/travel-essentials-spoleto-italy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Travel Essentials | Spoleto, Italy<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The American paper also celebrated another Italian event, the <strong>Mille Miglia<\/strong>, a revival of a race that has reignited Italy\u2019s passion for racecars (May 11 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wheels.blogs.nytimes.com\/2013\/05\/11\/mille-miglia-re-ignites-italys-racing-passi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mille Miglia Reignites Italy\u2019s Racing Passions<\/a>), seen also in the record number of entries (May 16<em>&#8211;<\/em>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wheels.blogs.nytimes.com\/2013\/05\/16\/2013-mille-miglia-features-record-entry-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2013 Mille Miglia Features Record Entry Numbers<\/a>). Still writing about cars, there was an article dedicated to the 50 years of <strong>Lamborghini<\/strong>, the hyper-sophisticated make that still stupefies its fans (<em>The New York Times,&nbsp;<\/em>May 13 &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wheels.blogs.nytimes.com\/2013\/05\/13\/lamborghini-surprises-its-50th-anniversary-faithful-with-a-new-concept\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lamborghini Surprises Its 50th Anniversary Faithful With a New Concept<\/a>) .<\/p>\n<p>Finally, there was some reporting on Italian culinary culture. The Brazilian paper <em>Valor Economico<\/em> wrote lavishly about the wine <strong>passito di Pantelleria<\/strong> (the production of a victory over nature (May 16-&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.valor.com.br\/cultura\/3125550\/passito-di-pantelleria-uma-vitoria-sobre-natureza\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Passito di Pantelleria, uma vit\u00f3ria sobre a natureza<\/a>*).
