Monitoring of international scientific journals <em>Science<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Lancet<\/em>&nbsp;and the journals of the group <em>Nature<\/em>) found 32 studies by Italian research teams published in January and 17 in December. As usual, there was a prevalence of studies in oncology, with 10 published in <em>Leukemia,<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Oncogene, Lancet Oncology<\/em>, and the&nbsp;<em>British Journal of Cancer <\/em>by 97 researchers in 13 Italian centers.<\/p>\n<p>Again in the field of oncology, an interesting interview was published with Silvia Franceschi, member of Aspen Institute Italia\u2019s Italian Talents Abroad and head of the Infections and Cancer Epidemiology Group at the International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyons (available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.it\/en\/national-interest\/article\/conquering-cancer-developing-world-interview-silvia-franceschi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, five studies were published in December and January in the <em>European Journal of Human Genetics<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Nature Methods<\/em>,&nbsp;involving 48 researchers in 15 Italian research centers.
